IRASBURG – Arland D. Carter, 64, of Creek Road, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019 in Websterville.

Born September 28, 1954 in Barre, he was the son of Douglas and Virginia Rose (Carpenter) Carter. Arland attended Williamstown Elementary School and graduated from Williamstown High School. He then graduated from trade school in Connecticut.

On April 29, 2005 he married Linda (Little) Poulin in Randolph. Following their marriage, they made their home in Barre before moving to Irasburg.

Arland worked for United Parcel Service until his retirement. He served as a deacon with   Enough Ministries and River of Life Ministries.

In his spare time, Arland enjoyed playing ball, especially soft ball.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Carter of Irasburg and his children Trevor Greening, Erica Donaghy and her husband, Tim; and Beth Marshall and her husband, Zack; his grandchildren Emma and Anna Donaghy; his siblings Belinda Bernier, Debra Dudley, and Mark Parker and his wife, Laura as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Rickie Parker and his nephew, Brandon Bernier.

The service to honor and celebrate his life will be held at a later date at the convenience of his family.
