ORANGE – Antonio “Big Tonz” Espinoza, 38, of Clement Road passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.
Born on July 3, 1986, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, he was the son of Juan and Donna (Kenney) Espinoza. He attended Union Elementary School in Montpelier and graduated from U-32 High School in East Montpelier. While in high school he played football.
Following graduation, he made his home in the Central Vermont area. From 2007 to 2013 he was employed in production at Vermont Castings before he joined the staff at CED Twin State Electric as a salesman.
In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and going to watch the NY Mets baseball games, although most of all he enjoyed spending his free time with his son Carter as well as his friends and family.
Survivors include his son Carter Espinoza, his father Juan Espinoza, and his brothers Matthew Espinoza, Christopher Flint, Juan Espinoza, Jonathan Espinoza, and his sister Christina Flint as well as three nieces.
In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his aunts Patty, Sue and Nora, and his uncles Mike and Richard.
The service to honor and celebrate his life will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Canadian Club of Barre, 414 East Montpelier Road, Barre followed by a potluck until 4:00 p.m. There are no calling hours.
