BARRE – Anne M. Woodruff, 55, of Hill Street passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017 at her home.
Born on October 6, 1961 in Barre, she was the daughter of Frank Woodruff, MD and Evelyn (MacDonald) Woodruff.
She attended elementary school at St. Monica’s and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1980.
Annie loved to knit, crochet, sing, do puzzles, play bocce, and dance. She was very social and loved interacting with adults and children, especially babies and young children. Also, she enjoyed planning, cooking and hosting dinner parties.
Survivors include her siblings, Stephen J. Woodruff, MD and his wife, Micki of Barre; Frank E. Woodruff, Jr., and his wife, Jackie of San Antonio, TX; Richard M. Woodruff of Montpelier; David A. Woodruff and his wife, Dianne of Manchester, NH; Mary E. Woodruff of Williston; Sarah Woodruff Ford of Concord, NH; Paul A. Woodruff of Colchester; Jane Woodruff of Greensboro; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Anne Leopold.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Monica Catholic Church, Summer Street, Barre. Family and friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre.
