Anne M. Brady

WILLIAMSTOWN – Anne M. Brady, 81, a long-time resident of Williamstown passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024, at home.

Born on December 22, 1943, in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of Patrick and Mary Brady. She attended elementary school and graduated from high school in Brooklyn, New York.

Anne started her career working for Con Edison in New York before moving to Vermont.  She previously owned and operated the Little Grocery and Deli and Bil’Bos Ice Cream Parlor near the Sugarbush Ski Resort as well as the China Barn Restaurant on Route 17 in Fayston.  She then went on to work for National Life Insurance Company for sixteen years, from which she retired.  In her spare time, she enjoyed skiing, camping, and traveling especially to go visit her friends in New Jersey.

Anne lived in Williamstown for the past thirty years.  Survivors include her companion Winston Smith of Williamstown. She was predeceased by her parents.
