Albert Jack Cooper

July 11, 1930 — May 10, 2015

Berlin

BERLIN – Albert Jack Cooper, 84, a resident of Berlin and formerly of Hinsdale, NH, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 10, 2015, at the Woodridge Nursing Home after a short illness. He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Edith (Moore) Cooper.
Born on July 11, 1930 in Greenpoint Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of Cleland E. and Mary (Ferreira) Cooper.
Jack and Edith married in October of 1966. He lived his life for his wife. Whatever they did, they did together. Traveling, camping, gardening, and making crafts were a few of the many hobbies they shared. He cared for her as long as he possibly could and their final moments were spent together in their last home at Woodridge Nursing Home, the way he wanted it. He will be missed by all that grew to love him. He had been employed by and retired from the Putney Hill Paper Mill in Putney, NH.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sisters, Mildred (Cooper) French of Fairfield, CA and Gladys (Cooper) Perkins of Somerset, MA; a brother, Cleland E. Cooper, Jr. of Schertz, TX; his niece, Julie Nichols, the daughter of his heart, and her partner, Bob Richert, along with many other nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are two sisters, Doris (Cooper) Warner of Evansville, IN and Betty (Cooper) Loy of Hot Springs, AR.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre. Calling hours will be from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Woodridge Nursing Home, 142 Woodridge Drive, Berlin, VT 05602 as a tribute to the outstanding care and love they showed him.
