WILLIAMSTOWN – Jeremy J. Cormier, 46, of Vt Route 14, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018 at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.
Born July 16, 1972 in Berlin, he was the son of Anna (Wright) and Bill Martin. Jeremy attended Barre Town Elementary School and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1994. After graduation he made his home in Barre Town before moving to Williamstown in 1994.
Jeremy was employed as part of the United Employment Services Program at Washington County Mental Health and assisted many local employers with various tasks. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching professional wrestling, NASCAR, playing video games, shopping, going for rides, vacationing in Maine, and most of all listening to music – especially country music.
Survivors include his parents, Anna and Bill Martin of Williamstown; his brother John Cormier of Williamstown and his sister Billie Jo Manley and her husband, Jim, of Pennsylvania; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his grandparents Elmer and Frances Wright, he was predeceased by his uncle Gene Wright.
Family and friends may call on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre. Inurnment will take place in the Wilson Cemetery in the Spring.
